Mangani, went all out on this beat. First day i saw this mo'fo he played beats all day and this one just rocked us all. I had to have this beat! Everyone wanted this beat. And we were fighting over it, while he was just calm and cool about it.
You have no clue how many versions of this track i have. I still feel this version hasn't quiet nailed the beat yet. iFani went crazy on the lyrics, this is the track where he started jumpin borders with lines like "indunts'ene-mileage, kak'ivel'izwele" that still cracks me up.
We had to wait until there was some noise in the complex to do this track coz the shoutin' would've disturbed the neighbours. And the whispering wasn't by choice, it was at night and iFani couldn't shout and HAD to finish the track. The beat was a mixdown-ed mp3 file and as a result the volume can't get any higher than that without poppin.
I tried everything i could to get it loud but this is the best i could get. The original version of the beat has been lost to history forever. And oh, the part about Lama and not sharing? he still gets mad-ish about that. You ask me? it's true. he he...
